Peergrade (www.peergrade.io) is an online learning tool developed with the aim of letting the students give feedback to each other’s assignments; or, learning them how to give peer feedback. Peergrade has a number of functions, including the facility of rating the feedback giving, which is a major motivating factor for giving good feedback. In my talk I’ll share my experience in using Peergrade, as a tool for students’ peer feedback. I’ll give an outline of what types of assignments can be uploaded, and I’ll pay special attention to the challenge of creating feedback criteria that address exact learning objectives.
